Yesterday we had a farewell party at the lake for my parents. They head to the MTC tomorrow and will be in Peru by next weekend. We are all so excited for them but also sad to see them leave. It’s kinda surreal like it hasn’t hit me yet that they will be gone for 18 months! They originally weren’t supposed to leave until October but were asked to come earlier at the last minute so these last two weeks have been a whirlwind for them trying to get everything done and ready to go. I know they will be great missionaries. I’m so proud to call them my parents!
