Boise Trip!

So my friend Athena was headed to Weiser, Idaho (1 hr. from Boise) just after my birthday, she asked if I wanted to go to Boise and I couldn't say "no" to that so we headed to Idaho on October 11th and stayed almost two weeks! I was so excited to see my family and spend a little Fall time in Boise, because let's just be real, Boise is GORGEOUS in the Fall. It was the most perfect weather when we were there, we were outside everyday. Carson loved playing with his Cousins and spending time with Cita and Grandpa.

Those two weeks we enjoyed--- family, cousins, park time, going out to the movies, Linder Farms Corn Maze, petting zoo, corn pit, tube slide, pedal tractors, hayride, pumpkin patch, sleepovers with cousins, The Village at Meridian, cousin lunch play dates, scouring thrift stores, craft night with the sisters, homemade caramel apples, my family birthday dinner, & downtown parks. It was jam packed with fun but we sure missed daddy. Can't wait for our trip back next Summer!

Last night in Boise, Carson sure loved the pudding at Souper Salad.

On our way down to Utah we had car troubles and had to be towed to Tremonton. The kids were ecstatic about riding in a tow truck! We made it safely to SLC that night.

Carson and Emmett ready to hit the road back to Casper

Had to mention our stop before we headed out of SLC, we stopped for lunch at Chic Fil A after a couple hours at IKEA (so excited I got to go) and I saw Nothing bundt Cakes across the street. AHHHH!! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE their cakes! If you're ever in Sandy, UT stop by and grab one, you won't be disappointed!

27th

I turned 27 yesterday--YIKES!! Can't believe I'm 27 already! Keith keeps reminding me how much he'd love to be 27, it helps--a little.

We all woke up earlier than usual since I work now, just the second and fourth Thursday of the month for 2 1/2 hours. I help with Child Care for the local MOPS group in Casper. I can take Carson with me which is nice. So after 2 1/2 hours of working we headed home and I was surprised to find flowers and a gift on my doorstep from my good friend Athena. I also went inside to find flowers from Keith. Athena, the kids and I all went out for lunch and to the Mall to let the kids run and play. We also went shopping at a few stores. After a few hours the kids were winding down so we went home. I got ready for my date with Keith and when Keith got home we dropped Carson off at a friend's house and we went out to eat at Famous Daves then saw Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I actually really liked it. After picking up Carson we had cheesecake and I opened presents. I got some really nice boots for winter and a Hobby Lobby gift card. Thanks Keith, Carson, Athena, and all of you who wished or called me on my birthday. It was a special day.

Athena!! Love this Girl! So excited for our road trip to Boise tomorrow!

Cheesecake--My FAVORITE!!
Today--the 10th some of my favorite girls from my ward and I celebrated my birthday at Olive Garden. I had so much fun with these girls and am so blessed to have good friends here in Casper. Seriously guys, our ward is the bomb! I have never been in a more friendly ward, I love it!!! These girls make me laugh!!

A few girls weren't able to make it and we missed them, but they sure made my birthday extra special since I don't have any of my sisters or family in Wyoming.

Fall Bucket List

We decided to make a Fall bucket list so we wouldn't forget to do our favorite Fall activities and eat our favorite Fall foods.
