Wooo-whoo! It's that time of year! Yeah the holidays are coming and that means vacation time for us! We're headed out to New Jersey for a little while to spend Thanksgiving with Keith's family. I'm so excited to relax, spend time with family, and maybe go out and do some fun things the East Coast has to offer. And we all know Thanksgiving brings Christmas! I've already started decorating and listening to the Christmas music on Lite 108. We'll be spending Christmas with Keith's family too in Utah since his sister is getting married in SLC. Can't wait! Bring on the Holidays!! Now we just need some snow.....

Fall Family Photos!
Fall is the perfect time for family pictures (I think so at
least). The colors just make the pictures really stand out. So Monday, I called
Shae up last minute and we did a quick photo shoot. We got some good pics for
only shooting about an hour and with a wild boy. Thanks again Shae they turned
out so good! I think we’re gonna take our family pictures every fall!
Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween! My little Penguin and I are going trick-or-treating tonight with my sister Shae and her husband and their daughter Brielle. Harrison Blvd. is the popular spot in Boise to trick-or-treat, last year they got over 5,000 trick-or-treaters! So we're gonna go check it out and a few other places. Keith unfortunately had to leave for Montana today so that's a bummer but he will be back this weekend! Hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween!!!
| I love the side profile. I fell in love with this costume! He doesn't like it too much though. |

Fall Festivities!
Oh I just love fall! Everything about the Autumn season makes me so happy; the carmel apples, the changing leaves, the crisp air, Halloween, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, haunted houses, cozy clothes, costumes, apple cider, pumpkin flavored everything...and everything else that says FALL. Saturday was our family Halloween party! I found Carson the cutest lil' penguin costume and was so excited for him to wear it to the party. We had fun eating nachos, frosting cookies and cupcakes, and playing games. Here's a few pics....

One year older.....
So yesterday was the big 25! Yikes! I used to get so excited for my birthday growing up and would look forward to it every year, the years seemed to go by slow. Now a birthday means a year older and I don't look forward to being older for some reason and the years seem to fly by! Why is that?
Well I had a wonderful birthday because of my sweet husband. He always makes everything a surprise and makes sure the day is special. He worked the night before so Carson and I got up together in the morning and made blueberry muffins and I was surprised with roses on the table, then little C and I hung out for awhile until Keith got up. We dropped Carson off at Keith's aunt's house here in SLC then he took me to see TAKEN 2 which we loved by the way. Afterwards we picked Carson up and met my friend Kathryn at IKEA so Keith could buy my birthday present--a new media/entertainment center. Kathryn is driving it up to Boise for me in her van...such a good friend. I was so stoked about this present because I've been looking for a new entertainment center for over a year now and haven't been able to find one I love for the price. We came to IKEA the other week and I fell in love with one there but they don't have an IKEA in Boise so it's perfect timing that Kathryn is going there this week.
After IKEA we went out to dinner at Cafe Rio and then skipped over to Leatherby's Ice Cream shop (the cutest place ever) to have ice cream with all of Keith's extended family here in SLC. It was a perfect day and I'm glad I was able to spend it with people I love.

family, fall, food, & fun
Well we been here in SLC for a little over two weeks now and have been enjoying spending time with family, the fall festivities, eating out at our favorite food joints (and cooking our own food), and just having fun. No offense Montana but I'm really loving that Utah has SO MUCH MORE to do, see and eat here. Keith's sister Catherine came last weekend with her fiance and we all went to Gardner Village to see the WITCHFEST. Gardner Village is the cutest place ever! It's all decked out for fall with Witches and fall garb. It has the cutest little shops complete with fudge!

Later that day we went to City Creek Mall in downtown SLC. Holy cow what a sweet MALL! We had fun trying on silly outfits while the boys watched.
Yesterday Keith's Aunt Charie invited Carson and I to go to the Hogle Zoo with her and some of her daycare kids. We had never been there before so I was super excited! It was so fun and the perfect weather for October. Couldn't have been a better day. Thanks again Charie!
