Rainbow Babies

Last Fall I remember Keith's aunt posting this picture and caption.

A “rainbow baby” is a baby that is born following a miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or infant loss. In the real world, a beautiful and bright rainbow follows a storm and gives hope of things getting better. The rainbow is more appreciated having just experienced the storm in comparison.

The picture intrigued me so I read it's caption and commented that I hoped my "rainbow baby" would come soon. I never thought I would get TWO Rainbow BABIES at once!
Yes, most of you know, some of you don't, but yes, we are expecting TWINS!!! I love the part of the caption that says a rainbow follows a storm and is more appreciated having just experienced the storm. I can't even put into words my emotions from the miscarriage to infertility to finally finding out we're pregnant to finding out we're having twins! We are elated to be having twins and feel so extremely blessed that we get two at once. I'm still praying for those friends and family members of mine that are in that difficult stage of infertility or loss. You're in my thoughts and prayers, never forgotten.

So come October our family will be welcoming.....

two little bundles of JOY!!

This was taken at my 8 week ultrasound when we first found out about the twins, I'm currently 15 weeks.
